Budget Analysts -
Involves managing an organization's financial plans through developing and analyzing budgets. Budget analysts are also responsible for finding new ways to improve efficiency and profitability of the company by analyzing the budget. One requires a minimum of a bachelor's degree in any field but some organization's prefer a master's degree, strong quantitative skills, good computer skills, strong written and oral skills as they need to prepare and present budget proposals to management. Budget analysts are mainly employed in Federal, State or local government organizations.

Financial Accountants -
The job involves compiling financial statements from the general ledger, interpretation of financial information, input in decision making that concerns an organization's finances for example mergers and acquisitions. A financial accountant needs to obtain a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, have a good knowledge of accounting information, an MBA with a focus in accounting, management skills with an experience of 4 to 8 years.

Cost and Management Accountants -
Mainly involved in capital budgeting decisions, cost analysis, contract analysis, efforts to control expenses within one specific organization. Management accountants also work alongside with marketing and finance to develop new business. The required skills and qualifications for this career are a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, strong computer skills in microsoft excel, an MBA with a focus in accounting, CPA or CMA is recommended and strong communication and analytical skills with an experience of 4 to 8 years.

Internal Auditor -
This involves checking and analyzing the financial transactions carried out in an organization in order to identify areas of mismanagement, fraud and wastage. Internal auditors also evaluate an organization's financial and information systems to ensure that records are accurate and controls are adequate. The required skills and qualifications for this career are a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, previous accounting or audit related experience, good computer skills.

Public Accountants -
The job involves auditing, consulting, tax and financial planning. A public accountant can work for an accounting firm or work from their own practice. The required skills and qualifications are a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, good computer skills, CPA certification and an MBA with a focus in accounting with an experience of 4 to 7 years.

Bookkeeper -
The job involves maintaining and posting financial transactions carried out by an organization. The bookkeeper is usually responsible for all the accounts in the general ledger, producing financial statements and reports for supervisors and management. Bookkeepers are required to posses at least a high school diploma, an
accounting diploma or coursework, should be computer literate with relevant work experience.

Accounting Clerks -
Involves posting transactions into the journals and updating files when they are required. In larger companies the tasks of the accounting clerks will be more specialized and this is reflected in the title of the job for example Invoicing Clerk or Accounts payable clerk. The required qualifications and skills are at least a high school diploma, an accounting diploma or coursework, should be computer literate and should have a high level of accuracy in order to avoid making errors.
